A fast, high-resolution, 3D mouse embryo visualization technique developed by collaborators in San Antonio and Salt Lake City will undoubtedly revolutionize the way birth defects and cancer genes are studied in animal models. That’s the prediction of the researchers in the cover story of the April 28 issue of PLoS Genetics, a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Public Library of Science.
